There are times that, for whatever reason, you may want or need to return a product you purchased from us. That is why we have a 30 day unconditional return policy on most of the products we sell. If you return an item to us that you have received within the last 30 calendar days we will gladly refund you, exchange it or give you store credit. Please note that we are unable to accept returns on CD-R, DVD or other optical media product that has been opened. Also, equipment and software purchases fall under different sets of rules. Any damaged or defective products must be addressed within 2 weeks (10 business days) of receipt of your order. IMPORTANT
Do not send any returns to the PO Box or office in CT.  These will be refused. Please call or email us before sending anything back.  We will provide the exact return address and a return authorization.  Be sure to clearly write your invoice on the outside of the box and a clear explanation for the return inside.  Always make sure there's a way we can contact you.  Thank you!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Non-Equipment Purchases
Items returned to us within 30 calendar days of receipt of purchase are eligible for a refund of up to the purchase price. The refund will cover no more than the actual cost of the item (less any applicable restocking fees). Any monies spent on shipping, handling and insurance cannot be refunded.

1. All products (with the exception of equipment and open CD-R spindles, DVD spindles or any other bulk packaged media) may be returned within 30 calendar days of receipt for a refund onto the same credit card used for the original purchase, refund by check, exchange or store credit.
2. The amount credited will for the product only. Freight cannot be included.
3. Returned items must be the actual item we originally sent. The serial number or product codes must be identical to the one that you originally received from us.
4. All merchandise returned to us may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%.
5. Your package must be sent prepaid as we will not accept shipments that are sent Freight Collect or COD. We cannot be responsible for the costs of shipping items back to us for return or exchange.
6. We cannot accept returns on CD-R spindle or bulk pack product that has been opened. The one exception is if a spindle being sold as a "100 spindle" is packaged in two 50 spindles. In this case if one of the spindles is sealed then it may be returned for a pro-rated credit.
7. No returns or exchanges will be accepted without a proper return authorization. You will find a pre-printed return authorization (RA) on your packing slip. Please be sure this RA is be clearly placed on the outside of the box.
8. Any returns without a valid RA will be refused.

Equipment Purchases
Any product that you plug into a wall or requires a battery for power can be considered to be equipment. This includes, but is not limited to: DAT recorders, CD recorders and duplicators, Cassettes players and recorders, CD players, microphones, power supplies, DVD recorders and players, signal converters and MiniDisc recorders.

Equipment returned to us within 10 calendar days a purchase is eligible for refund, exchange or credit. The refund or credit will cover only the actual cost of the item (less any applicable restocking fees. After day 10 and up to the 30th day equipment will only be eligible for a defective exchange.

4. The exchange or credit is made only upon inspection of the returned merchandise and approval of our returns department.
5. All merchandise returned to us may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%. For equipment this means all packaging, literature, warranty cards, remotes, etc. The unit must be in perfect working order (unless it is being returned as defective).
6. Your package must be sent prepaid as we will not accept shipments that are sent Freight Collect or COD. We cannot be responsible for the costs of shipping items back to us for return or exchange.
7. Any equipment that proves to defective and is returned to us within 30 calendar days of receipt can be exchanged for another of the same. We will ship the replacement to you at no additional charge. We cannot ship the replacement unit until we have the returned unit in our possession. All replacements will be shipped UPS Ground.
8. Beyond the 30 day exchange period, the customer assumes all responsibility for repair of defective equipment. Please call or email us for assistance on contacting the manufacturer for in-warranty repairs.
9. In the event a piece of equipment needs to returned a second time as defective we reserve the right to issue a credit for the product (less shipping costs and restocking charges).
10. Items may not be returned if they have been scratched, have had wires cut or if any hardware is missing. Please note that warranty cards must not have been filled out if we are to accept you're authorized return. All of the original packing material must accompany any return or exchange.
11. No returns or exchanges will be accepted without a proper return authorization. You will find a pre-printed return authorization (RA) on your packing slip. Please be sure this RA is be clearly placed on the outside of the box.
12. Any returns without a valid RA will be refused.

Software Purchases
1. Unopened software may be returned for refund or store credit within 10 days.
2. After 10 days and up to 30 days unopened software may be returned for store credit only
3. Any software that has been opened cannot be returned. This is an industry standard. Software manufacturers will not accept open software back unless there is a defect.
4. If you receive defective software you may return it for replacement only within 30 days.
5. The exchange is made only upon inspection of the returned merchandise and approval of our returns department.

Return Authorizations
You must call or email us before sending anything back.  We will provide the exact return address and a return authorization.  Be sure to clearly write your invoice on the outside of the box and a clear explanation for the return inside.  Always make sure there's a way we can contact you.  Thank you!.

Whenever we receive a returned package we will make certain that the RA number is valid, check the contents of the return and apply credit or exchange those items. Most of returned products are straightforward and get submitted for credit quickly. Please allow up to 3 weeks for processing. Returns are done on a weekly basis.

Please note that equipment must be looked over very carefully. We first have to be certain that all of the packing materials, literature and accessories are accounted for. Then a visual inspection of the unit must not yield any scratches or other surface damage. We must also verify that the serial number of the returned piece matches that which we had sent out. If the piece is being returned for a defective exchange we will verify the problem and then send out the replacement unit. If it is being returned for another reason we will then have to verify that it is in perfect working order. Once that is determined it will get submitted for credit.

Once the returns department has determined that a return is in order credit will be applied. In most cases a credit is placed back onto the credit card used for the purchase. If that card is no longer valid we will issue a check instead.
