LABEL TYPE
This is the size of the label. Different dimensions are shown based on the label type.
WORKS WITH
CD/DVD Labels & Hub Labels: The diameter is displayed. Sometimes, a second diameter is shown that represents center hole area. CD Case Trayliners & CD Case Front Booklets: Length and Height are displayed. DVD Cases Labels: In addition to the length and height, the case width this label is intended to fit. NOTE: Complete dimensions (including the exact layout of each sheet) can be found by clicking the "Detail Sheet" link below the "Product Summary" in light blue.
Most of the labels we carry are compatible with various labeling systems and software. This row indicates if the labels will work with a particular brand (such as, Neato, Memorex, Avery, Pressit, Stomper and more)
PRINT SURFACE
*IMPORTANT NOTE: It is not a requirement to use a specific system or software. We provide free templates (in doc or pdf format) for most of our labels. Links to these templates are below the light blue "product summary" area.
This indicates the type of print surface for this label. Most are a matte, but some are glossy. A higher gloss surface is ideal for higher resolution images.
PRINTER
This is the recommended type of printer for this particular label. Typically, they are either inkjet or laser. Sometimes, both will work. If you are using an inkjet printer and the label you are looking just says LASER you can be certain the label will not properly print. Of course, the reverse holds true as well.
LABELS/SHEET
Most sheets contain either one (1-UP) or two (2-UP) labels. However, some can hold many more. For instance, the large sheets (11" x 17") can hold 4 or 6.
LABELS/PACK
This is the total number of labels in a pack.
